At Organoid Therapeutics our mission is:

To develop and deliver organoid-based artificial organ technologies for clinical and research use

To contribute to the education of future generations by training scientists, engineers, and clinicians to pursue and support the implementation of artificial organ technologies

To inspire and promote scientific inquiry and the pursuit and dissemination of scientific knowledge

Our Vision

Patients with chronic conditions face a number of important barriers to adequate disease management including lack of access to medication, overly complex treatment regimens with serious side effects, increased complication and mortality rates, and disproportionate financial strain. At Organoid Therapeutics, our main objective is to give these patients the opportunity to regain control of their health and the ability to return to daily life.

We envision a future in which lab-grown artificial organs can be mass-produced, are made widely available, and become the first-line treatment option for patients with end-stage organ disease.

The realization of this vision is an arduous task that will pose important and fascinating technical and strategic challenges that have never been encountered before. In addition to technology development, bringing these technologies to the clinic will require revolutionizing the way endocrinology is currently practiced by inducing a paradigm shift away from the traditional approach - habitual prescription of maintenance therapy and routine follow up, to the future of endocrinology - outpatient treatment centers where patients can undergo curative artificial organ implantation.

Bringing this plan to fruition will require a monumental effort from multiple stake holders. Technology optimization, scaling, and execution of clinical studies will require the support of key industry partners, clinical institutions, and like-minded venture capitalists. Likewise, health care providers, patient advocates, and legislators will play an important role by coming together to adopt and implement these technologies in the clinic. Finally, developing effective regulatory and reimbursement strategies in conjunction with governing authorities, insurance companies, and healthcare providers will be a necessary step to make these technologies safe, affordable, and widely available.

We live in exiting times, and without a doubt, artificial organ technologies will one day become a reality. At Organoid Therapeutics we want to be part of this exhilarating future and our team is working hard to make this dream a reality.
